Hi! My name is Seamus Toomey.

I'm 47 years old, I'm a personal trainer from Limerick, Ireland.

I've been a trainer now for over 20 years, working exclusively with clients 1-1. For 13 years I had my own gym, Elite Personal Training, a boutique style private personal training studio hidden away in Raheen Business park. I am now the co-owner of Urban One Fitness, a much bigger gym on the Dock Road in Limerick City.

Urban One provides personal training, small group classes and spinning classes.

As I said, I've been training clients 1-1 for 20+years. I've trained clients from 14 years old to 70 years old. If I were to pick a "typical" client, they are 30-55 years old, they want to look better and feel better. The client will usually train for over a year to achieve their desired goal but we do have clients that have been training for over 5 or even 10 years. This client sees personal training as an investment in their overall well-being and is usually in much better shape than anyone their own age.

We also train clients who have limitations. eg: Stroke, car accident, heart attack, pre and post natal, neck injury....etc.. far too many to name here. We also train clients for sports such as triathlon, running, GAA, rugby, tennis, golf etc...
